Sean serves as Of Counsel with the firm of Hamilton Faatz, PC. He received his bachelor’s degree from the University of Colorado-Boulder and earned his Juris Doctorate from the University of Denver in 2000. Sean has practiced law for more than twenty years, bringing extensive experience and a deep understanding of the United States Judicial System to his role.
Sean specializes in governmental/municipal law, civil rights law, and criminal defense. His legal career began as a law student working for the District Attorney’s Office in the 18th Judicial District. Just three months after passing the bar, Sean was promoted to supervisor of the Aurora County Court, overseeing Arapahoe, Douglas, and Elbert County Courts, and was responsible for training newly hired deputy district attorneys. He later moved into felony prosecution in Arapahoe County. In 2003, Sean transitioned from the District Attorney’s Office to private practice, where he continues his legal work, now known as The Lane Law Firm.
