Refugio is a proud native of Colorado. He received his bachelor’s degree from the University of Colorado in Denver, where he was on the Dean’s List and served as President of the Pre-Law Society. He earned his Juris Doctorate from American University in Washington D.C., where he was a Marshall Brennan Fellow.
Refugio’s main areas of practice include commercial litigation, real estate acquisitions, litigation, and business administrative law. He provides strategic counsel for clients ranging from developers and investors on acquisitions and dispositions for real estate development, as well as other construction professionals with litigation needs, including mechanics liens and contract disputes. His deep understanding of his clients’ business needs and litigation strategies allows him to anticipate potential legal problems before they arise, offering proactive and effective solutions.
